If there is one thing that I would never scrimp on, it would be purses. Whenever I go to an Aldo or Town shoes and see all those designer "inspired" bags, I can't help but feel a little sad when I touch the terrible quality of the pleather. The poor material used on these bags, is not only fragile but diminishes the beauty of the original design.Since last year, I have started to collect handbags and although I don't have oodles and oodles of them, the ones that I do have, I would never part with. Atleast not anytime soon. The bag that I am currently thinking of owning is the Chloe Sally. It is from the S/S 09 collection and has already been seen on the arms of several celebs like Rachel Bilson, Leighton Meester to name a few.
The structured shape of the Sally is bound to be timeless, in fact, it almost reminds me of the Chanel 2.55 because of the flap and the chain strap, but it is updated with a gold metal frame which modernizes that classic shape. I sincerely believe that Chloe bags have the best leather, and the Sally does not disappoint. The Sally, like the Paraty which came out last year, has the most beautiful textured leather which is also very sturdy. It also has the added benefit of a double compartment so it is just as user-friendly without the bulk.
All I need to do now is save up for its $2000 price tag!
